API Keys

An API key authenticates calls to the Arcus by Testsigma API, which you can use to create projects, test cases, test runs, and test plans, and to execute them.

  1. In the left navigation, go to Settings > API Keys.

  2. Click Generate New Key.

  3. In the Generate Key dialog, enter a Key Name.

  4. Click Generate.

  5. Copy the key.

The API Keys page lists every key with its name, when it was last used, whether it is Active or Inactive, and who owns it.

Click the ellipsis icon (⋮) on a key for its actions:

  • Disable Key: stops the key working, and moves it to Inactive. Shown on an active key.
  • Re-Enable Key: puts an inactive key back into service. Shown on an inactive key.
  • Delete Key: removes the key permanently.
