MS Teams

Connecting Microsoft Teams to Arcus by Testsigma sends notifications about test activity into your Teams channels. You choose which events trigger a notification, and edit the message each one uses.

Prerequisites

  • Access to an MS Teams workspace.
  • The Microsoft Teams integration connected. Click Setup Integration next to Microsoft Teams under Settings > Integrations.

You configure notifications one event at a time. Turn each event on or off as needed.

  • Test Run Assigned: a test run is assigned to a user.
  • Test Case Waiting on Review: a test case is submitted for review.
  • Test Case Approved: a test case is approved.
  • Comments Mentioned: a user is mentioned in a comment.
  • Test Run Completed: a test run’s status changes or it completes.
  • Test Case Assigned: a test case is assigned to a user.
  • Test Case Rework Requested: a test case needs rework.
  • Test Run Added to Test Plan: a test run is added to a test plan.
  • Test Plan Completed: a test plan completes.
  • Test Plan Daily Summary: a daily summary of active test plans.
  1. In the left navigation, go to Settings > Notifications.

  2. Expand Notifications, then click MS Teams. The Customise MS Teams Notifications section opens.

  3. Hover over the event you want to change and click the edit icon.

  4. Update the Notification Template.

  5. (Optional) Click Send Test Notification to check the template.

  6. Click Save.

  1. In the left navigation, open Test Plans, then create or open a test plan.

  2. In the Notifications section, select MS Teams from the dropdown.

Arcus sends a notification when the test plan is created or updated.
