# MS Teams

> Send Arcus notifications into your Microsoft Teams channels, choose which events trigger them, and edit each notification template.

Connecting Microsoft Teams to Arcus by Testsigma sends notifications about test activity into your Teams channels. You choose which events trigger a notification, and edit the message each one uses.

## Prerequisites

- Access to an MS Teams workspace.
- The Microsoft Teams integration connected. Click **Setup Integration** next to Microsoft Teams under **Settings > Integrations**.

Authorize the integration with a separate Microsoft account used only for setup. Because of a limitation in Microsoft Teams, the account that authorizes the integration does not receive notifications.

## Notification events

You configure notifications one event at a time. Turn each event on or off as needed.

- **Test Run Assigned**: a test run is assigned to a user.
- **Test Case Waiting on Review**: a test case is submitted for review.
- **Test Case Approved**: a test case is approved.
- **Comments Mentioned**: a user is mentioned in a comment.
- **Test Run Completed**: a test run's status changes or it completes.
- **Test Case Assigned**: a test case is assigned to a user.
- **Test Case Rework Requested**: a test case needs rework.
- **Test Run Added to Test Plan**: a test run is added to a test plan.
- **Test Plan Completed**: a test plan completes.
- **Test Plan Daily Summary**: a daily summary of active test plans.

## Customize a notification

1. In the left navigation, go to **Settings > Notifications**.

2. Expand **Notifications**, then click **MS Teams**. The **Customise MS Teams Notifications** section opens.

3. Hover over the event you want to change and click the edit icon.

4. Update the **Notification Template**.

5. (Optional) Click **Send Test Notification** to check the template.

6. Click **Save**.

## Send notifications from a test plan

1. In the left navigation, open **Test Plans**, then create or open a [test plan](https://testsigma.com/docs/arcus/v2/run-tests/test-plans/).

2. In the **Notifications** section, select **MS Teams** from the dropdown.

Arcus sends a notification when the test plan is created or updated.
