In computing and electronic systems, a binary-coded decimal (BCD) is a method of
representing each decimal digit by its binary sequence. BCD is different from converting a
decimal number to binary. For example, 45, when converted to binary, is 101101, and when
represented in BCD, is 01000101. The BCD to Decimal Converter (BDC) converts a binary-coded
decimal (BCD) to an integer.
This free and easy-to-use tool is categorized under digital computation to perform 8-4-2-1
BCD binary to decimal conversion. The BCD to Decimal converter breaks the BCD (binary-coded
decimal) into nibbles and converts each bite into a decimal digit. After that, it combines
the digits to form the decimal number.
