Introduction: SAP Automation
Testing SAP applications often involves complex workflows and repetitive tasks. With Testsigma, you can simplify this process by directly interacting with the SAP UI to capture and automate test scenarios. It offers a streamlined approach to create, manage, and run reliable SAP tests efficiently.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have the following requirements:
1. System Requirements
- Memory: Minimum 8 GB (dedicated for tests).
- Disk Space: At least 20 GB (includes reserved space for test resources such as screenshots and downloaded files).
- Processor: Dual-Core Processor or higher.
2. Ports Required
- SAP Logon: Install SAP Logon (64-bit or appropriate version for your system) to access SAP systems.
System Connection Parameters: You need the connection details for your SAP system, including:
- Description: SAP Server (custom name for your connection)
- System ID (SID): e.g., NSP
- Instance Number: e.g., 35
- Application Server: IP or hostname of the SAP server.
3. Port Required
SAP System Ports: Commonly used ports include:
- 3200
- 5000
- Others, depending on your specific SAP system configuration
Testsigma Integration Ports
