Managing Users in Testsigma & Test Management by Testsigma

With unified access control, you can invite users to Testsigma, Test Management, or both directly from one place.

You can manage user access across both Testsigma and Test Management by Testsigma from a single interface. When inviting users, you can choose to add them to either one or both products by selecting the relevant checkbox in the invite dialog.

In Testsigma, you can add new users, assign project-level roles, and optionally add them to Test Management by Testsigma. Similarly, in Test Management by Testsigma, you can invite users and choose to add them to Testsigma.

This unified user management approach helps maintain consistent access, simplifies onboarding, and ensures seamless collaboration across both platforms.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that the Test Management by Testsigma integration with Testsigma is enabled.

Add Users in Test Management by Testsigma

1. From the Dashboard, click Invite Users. This opens the Users section under Settings.
2. Click Invite Users.

3. In the Invite User dialog:

   • Enter the email address.
   • Select Add User in Testsigma if you also want to add the user in Testsigma.
   • Select the projects and assign the appropriate roles.
   • Click Send Invite.
4. The invited user will receive an email with a link to join the workspace.

Add Users in Testsigma

1. From the left navigation bar, go to Settings > Users.
2. Click Add New User.

3. In the Add New User dialog:

   • Enter the email address.
   • Select Add User in Test Management by Testsigma if you also want to add the user in Test Management by Testsigma.
   • Select the projects and assign the appropriate roles.
   • Click Send Invite.
4. The invited user will receive an email with a link to join the workspace.
