Comment in Test Cases


Add comments to streamline communication and keep all test case discussions organized and accessible.


When multiple team members contribute to the same test case, quick communication becomes essential. The commenting feature lets you discuss details, highlight issues, and exchange feedback directly in the test case. This article describes how to add comments and how to reply, react, or manage them. This article discusses adding comments in test cases.


Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that a test case exists or you know how to create one.

Add a Comment to a Test Case

  1. From the left navigation bar, go to Test Cases.
  2. Open the test case where you want to add a comment.
  3. In the Activity section, type your message in the comment field.
NOTE:

You can tag a team member by typing @ and selecting them from the list.

  1. Click Add Comment.
  2. Your comment appears in the Activity section.

Engage with Comments

  1. Click the Reply icon to respond to an existing comment.
  2. Click the Emoji icon to add a reaction.
  3. Click the Edit icon to modify a comment, click Update Comment.
  4. Click the meatballs menu (⋯) on a comment and select:

    • Copy Link to share a direct link to the comment.
    • Delete & confirm deletion to remove the comment.
