# QI Home overview

> What QI Home does in Testsigma, the AI agents behind it, and how generated test cases move into Copilot.

**QI Home** is where Testsigma's AI agents work. They generate test cases from your requirements, build test data, explain failed steps, file bugs, and repair broken locators. A generated test case then moves into Testsigma Copilot, where its manual steps become automated ones.

## Before you start

Turn on **Generative AI features** under **Settings > Preferences**. Automating a generated test case against the live application also needs **Generator (Live App)** under **Settings > Preferences > Agentic AI > Generator**.
