Unable to Reestablish Connection to Agent?


Sometimes, the connection between your system and the Agent may fail or get interrupted. This article discusses how to resolve the issue.

Agent is responsible for performing local executions. For more information on agents, please refer to the documentation on Testsigma Agent.


Steps to Resolve the Issue

  1. In the Testsigma Terminal window, click Reestablish Connection. This reestablishes the connection to the agent. Reestablish Connection

Please note that reestablishing connection is the same process across all applications.

  1. If the issue persists, click Reestablish Connection again. Reestablish connection
  2. If the issue still persists, click Force Reset and Restart. Force Reset and Restart
NOTE:

Clicking Force Reset and Restart is irreversible. It will remove all existing configurations and any downloaded additional packages. The Testsigma Terminal will then delete the existing files and re-download and extract the required files.
