# Figma

> Get your Figma Team ID and personal access token, connect Figma to Arcus, and attach a design as context for test generation.

Connecting Figma to Arcus by Testsigma lets you generate test cases from your designs, turning UI elements into test steps.

## Prerequisites

- An active project in Arcus by Testsigma.
- Your Figma **Team ID** and a Figma personal access token.

## Get your Figma Team ID

1. Open Figma in a web browser.

2. In the left navigation, select your team from the dropdown.

3. Read the team ID from the address bar. In `https://www.figma.com/files/team//your-team-name`, the `` segment is your Figma Team ID.

If you can't reach the team page, ask your Figma admin for the Team ID.

## Generate a Figma personal access token

1. Open Figma in a web browser.

2. Click your profile icon, then select **Settings**.

3. Go to **Security > Personal access tokens**.

4. Click **Generate new token**.

5. In the **Generate new token** dialog, enter a **Token name**.

6. Select an expiration period from the **Expiration** dropdown.

7. Click **Generate token**.

8. Click **Copy**.

Store the token now. Figma doesn't show it again.

## Connect Figma

1. In the left navigation, go to **Settings > Integrations**.

2. Click **Setup Integration** next to Figma.

3. On the **Integrate Figma** prompt, enter the **Team ID** and **API Key**.

4. Click **Connect**.

The **API Key** field takes the personal access token you generated.

## Attach a design as context

1. In the left navigation, open **QI Home**.

2. In the **Add Context** row, click the plus icon (+).

3. Select **Figma**.
